We are looking for a reliable Billing Officer to perform tasks that will help us monitor our revenues and cashflow. You will be responsible for keeping track of our invoicing requirements to prepare timely and accurate invoices and credit notes.

As a Billing Officer, you must be accurate and reliable in handling accounts and documents. Being good with figures and a high degree of organizational ability are essential due to the great amount of financial information. Since you will be using technology to expedite your work, a degree of computer knowledge is required.

The Billing Officer position is responsible for creating invoices, invoice adjustments and credit notes, issuing them to customers by all necessary means, and updating customer files.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Set up invoicing requirements in line with Client requests
  • Track Purchase Order information and liaise with Consultants to update the job
  • Issue invoices to customers weekly
  • Update customer files with invoice adjustments
  • Issue credit notes to customers weekly
  • Update existing customer master files with any changes
  • Manage Major Accounts to ensure timely and accurate monthly invoicing
  • Enter invoices into customer invoicing web sites/RCTI systems and reconcile to our systems
  • Track all reasons for invoice adjustments and manage processes to minimize these issues


3+ years of billing/receivables experience. Must be detail oriented. Must have good communication skills with both internal and external customers. This role would be for 15 hours, very flexible on days and how that 15 hours is made up.
