Inside Sales & Account Manager

  • 15 - 20 hours per week (approx - flexible)

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and well-rounded individual to assist and support our Director of Sales with our Sales & Marketing strategy, Account Management and Inside Sales. We are looking for a dynamic person who craves to be part of a winning team on an amazing journey.

The role is dynamic, faced paced and broad, which keeps it very interesting! For the right person, you will be working alongside the Director of Sales to assist in formulating, planning and executing further market penetration off the back of our latest technology release.


The role has another aspect to it that includes managing current customers from a sales perspective in order to seek new revenue and help with the rollout of our new product.


Equally, if you're successful in this role, you will be the initial point of contact with prospective customers via telephone and be an evangelist for our business solutions. Your performance will be measured on the number of new qualified prospects entering our sale funnel along with the increase in revenue attained from managing existing client accounts. The role will be based in our Sydney office, located in Brookvale on the Northern Beaches.

The role requires a proactive team player with excellent verbal and written skills, great energy levels and a positive mental attitude to assist the company on its journey. 

Responsibilities: 
Complete required training within the assigned time frame with the expectation that you quickly become knowledgeable on our products and have effective, professional communication both internally and externally via phone and email.

Your primary role will be assisting the Director of Sales with key daily, weekly and monthly tasks, involving Account Management and Sales functions. Some of these tasks are outlined below. 


General Tasks:

  • Inside Sales and Lead Generation;
  • Prospect Management;
  • Ensure Monthly Contact with each Existing Customer – Phone / Direct Mail / News Letters etc;
  • Pro-actively Manage Accounts/Prospects within CRM on behalf of the Sales Manager;
  • Calendar Management;
  • Meeting scheduling;
  • Post meeting follow up - email;
  • Assist in Proposal Writing, Tender Responses and Solution Pricing;
  • Assist with Event Management / Execution;
  • Creating a Tender Q&A Document from all Previous Questions & Responses.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and great organisation skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills;
  • Ability to work across a range of IT platforms (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc); 
  • Ability to use initiative, multi-task and manage processes autonomously;
  • Possess a professional phone manner and a positive mental attitude;
  • Be self-managed and enjoy working as part of a small dynamic team.

This role is initially a flexible part-time position (15 - 20 hours per week), either by contract or direct employment and with a negotiable hourly rate. There is opportunity to increase hours over time as you grow with the business.
